Lucille V. Rentz, 93, formerly of Ellwood City, passed away the evening of August 21, 2012 at Golden Hill Nursing Home.Born December 3, 1918, in Boyers, PA, she was a daughter of David and Pearl Sproull Hennon.She married Donald Rentz on June 26, 1936. He preceded her in death on November 12, 1998.She was a graduate of Grove City High School.Lucille was a homemaker and enjoyed flowers, gardening, needlework, quilting and reading. She also like singing and studying her Bible.She was a member of Dewey Avenue Holiness Church. Previously she was active with the Ellwood Free Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school and the Adult Bible Class.She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Lenore and Robert Ewing of Ellwood City; a son and daughter-in-law, David E. and Janice Rentz of Pittsburgh; a brother, Donald Hennon of Grove City; four grandchildren, Robert, Jodi, David and Kim; and 11 great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Vera Morgan.Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2012, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 24, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. The Rev.
