Lula B. Emery, 71, of Ellwood City, passed away the afternoon of June 15, 2016 at UPMC Pittsburgh. Born on July 30, 1944 in Parker, PA, she was a daughter of Charles and Paulina Parks. She enjoyed doing crafts and could be seen working at area craft shows. She was a devoted NASCAR fan, with Jeff Gordon being her favorite driver. She also enjoyed baking holiday cookies to share with her family and friends. Surviving her is one daughter, Paula Emery; and three sons, Alvin, Jr., Michael, and Thomas Emery, all of Ellwood City; and her separated husband, Alvin Emery, Sr. She is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Ralph, Harold, Gary, Jim, Bob and John Parks; and one sister, Becky Parks. Visitation will be held from 5 - 7 pm Tuesday at R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.
