Lynn Ann Houston, formerly Morrison, 62, of Eastbrook, New Castle, PA passed away the morning of April 6, 2010 at her home, after a three year battle with cancer.Lynn was born in New Castle on October 14, 1947, a daughter of the late Wendell and Lillis Keeling Morrison. Lynn graduated from Neshannock High School in 1965 and attended New Castle School of Beauty. Lynn married Thomas Edwin Houston on April 21, 1967. He survives. In addition to being an mother and homemaker, she worked at Strouss's department store, Fisher's Big Wheel corporate offices, and New Castle Industries/Feedscrew Division. Lynn was a member of Eastbrook Methodist Church. In her spare time, Lynn enjoyed stitching, knitting, and sewing. She was an active member of both the Keystone Embroiderers' Guild and the Ohio Embroiderers' Guild, Poland chapter.Lynn was the beloved mother of three children; Sandra Lynn Currier and her husband Jeffrey M. of Harleysville, PA, Deborah Lynn Houston of New Castle and Christopher Thomas Houston and his wife Geri (Catalano) Houston of New Castle. Lynn was a doting grandmother to four grandchildren, Christy (Houston) Trapp, Josselyn Elizabeth Slagle, Nicholas Michael Currier, and Tyler Matthew Currier. Survivors also include her sister, Janet Lee Worthington of Tucson, AZ.Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, her mother-in-law, Patricia A. Houston, and an infant grandson, Jeffrey Michael Currier, Jr.Visitation will be Thursday, April 8, 2010, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Friday, April 9, 2010, from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle, PA.Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., on Friday morning, at the funeral home with the Rev.
