Mabel F. Cutchall, age 81, 30-year Breast Cancer survivor. Lost her battle with Brain Cancer, June 13, 2022, and trusted that God was in control. Devoted wife of 64 years to Phae Dayton Cutchall Jr, beloved mother to Phae Dayton Cutchall III (Cecile), Judy Lynn Ashworth, Lori Ann Strawhecker (Kevin), and Christopher John Cutchall (Kara). Grandmother to 11, Great to 19, and she had the pleasure of meeting 1 Great-great grandchild. Sister to Mary Anna (Tootie) Collins and (Dorothy) Jean Hamilton. Beloved by many brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-law, especially Joyce Rossman. Described by many as kind and quiet, her journey in life included: Military wife of 10 years, member of Faith Country Chapel since 1968, Girl Scout Troop Leader, Christian Woman's Club member, owner of Village Laundromat and Marco's Dry Cleaners. Employed by JoAnn Fabrics and Payless Shoes. She loved her family, her faith, reading Christian fiction novels, and following the weather. She became a fan of high school football and basketball during her youngest son's high school years. Enjoyed attending many grandchildren musicals, performances, and sports events. Was ready to travel to Niagara Falls at the drop of a hat. Loved the Steelers and Penguins. Most importantly, she has a deep desire for all her children and grandchildren to know Jesus. Preceded in death by, Elizabeth Murray Greggs (mother), Harold Bruce Hamilton (father), Harold Lewis Hamilton (brother). Visitation will be held on Wed. June 15th from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle and on Thurs. June 16th from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Faith Country Chapel, 3818 Old Butler Rd., New Castle, PA 16101. A funeral service will take place at noon, on Thurs., June 16th, at Faith Country Chapel, with Pastor Jason Doolittle, officiating.
