Mae E. "Betty" Robinson, 88, of Portersville, PA, passed away the morning of July 9, 2015 at Ellwood City Hospital. Born December 1, 1926 in Pittsburgh, PA. she was the daughter of William J. and Angeline McDavid Kumpf. She was preceded in death on November 6, 1990 by her loving husband, C. Kenneth Robinson, whom she married September 27, 1953. Mae was employed by the Lawrence County Fair as office manager. She was also employed as a grounds and tax preparer for Gardner Tax Service for 14 years, and as a bookkeeper for Faith Country Chapel. Mae was a support member of the Lawrence County Stroke club, past president of the Three Rivers Winnies, past president and past secretary of the Winnebago Singles International, and also a member of the New Covenant sewing ladies. She attended First Assembly of God. She is survived by her two daughters, Carol (Henry) Reinstadtler of Slippery Rock, PA., Cheryl (B.Jay) Wetzel of Pittsburgh, PA.; one brother, William J. Kumpf, Jr. of Butler, PA.; 5 grandchildren, Jennifer Stagg, Christina Wallace, Jay Wetzel, Carrie Wetzel, and Joshua Wetzel; 5 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. A service will take place on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. William Hunley officiating. Burial will be at the Mt. Hermon Cemetery.
