Marcia Lee "Gert" Hall, age 70, passed away April 24, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer, at her home in Edinburg, PA, surrounded by her two daughters and niece

Born August 2, 1954, in New Castle, she was the daughter of Thomas and Marjorie (McCleary) McComb.

Gert was preceded in death on March 6, 2001, by her husband of 25 years, Ronald L. Hall, whom she married June 19, 1976.

Gert attended Lawrence County Vo-Tech where she studied cosmetology. She was employed with Caiazza Candy prior to her retirement at the Haven Nursing Center.

Among her interests, she enjoyed working in her yard, taking care of her home and spending time with her cats, Beatrice and Snookums. Gert never missed her granddaughter's softball games. She will be remembered for her sharp wit and banter. Gert attended First Church of God in New Castle, with her daughter, Jamie.

She is survived by two daughters, Jamie Lynn Stuart of New Castle and Stacey Lee (Tim) Germani of Neshannock; one sister, Terry McComb Herman of New Castle; a niece, Krystle Ayala of Edinburg; and two grandchildren, Reagan Stuart and Ronnie Germani. Gert is truly going to be missed by her family and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Nathaniel Stuart; three brothers, Thomas McComb, Donald McComb and Arthur McComb; and two sisters, Adalaide "Snooky" Roberts and Sheila Stevens.

The family would like to thank the AHN Cancer Institute of New Castle for their loving care and support.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 28, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road.

A funeral service will take place immediately following the service Monday at 6:00 with Pastor Crystal Epps officiating.

Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
