Marcia K. Temple, 83 of New Castle passed away on November 17, 2021, at UPMC Jameson Hospital. Born on January 24, 1938, in Butler, she was the daughter of Lawrence L. and Martha Gamble. She married Caleb L. Temple on June 28, 1958, whom survives at home. Marcia was a graduate of Allegheny General Nursing School. She was an RN at UPMC Jameson Memorial Hospital for several years. She enjoyed reading, playing golf, singing, and playing the piano. Upon her retirement, Marcia and husband enjoyed wintering in Florida and being active with their friends. Marcia loved the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a former member of First United Methodist Church and more recently, Word of Life Family Church where she was involved in bible study and doing daily devotionals. Along with her husband, Marcia is survived by four daughters, Lisa (Brian) Duckworth, Laurie (Frank) Pollio both of New Castle, Leslie (Mark) Pagley of Russelville, AR, and Linda (Brad) Ragazzo of Timnath, CO; one son, Larry (Amy) Temple of Fairview, PA. She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Kathy Sue Temple. Visitation will be held Monday, November 22, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at Word of Life Family Church, 326 Laurel Blvd. New Castle, PA, 16101. A funeral service will take place immediately after visitation, at 11:00 AM at Word of Life, with Pastor Mark Pagley and Pastor Ted Sadd officiating. A private burial will be at Castle View Gardens.
