Margaret Mary Forgione, 94, of Jameson Care Center, passed away the morning of October 26, 2013 at Jameson Hospital. Born January 1, 1919 in Campbell, Ohio, she was a daughter of Steven and Catherine Zatura Zamets. She was preceded in death on February 9, 1979 by her husband, Bruno Forgione, whom she married August 9, 1941. Margaret attended Campbell Memorial High School and was a homemaker, taking care of her husband and their six children. She loved horse racing, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and bird watching. Margaret enjoyed singing both at her church, St. Vincent dePaul, and at the Jameson Care Center. She is survived by her two daughters and their husbands, Philomena and James Wallace, and Cathy and Floyd Stuckey, all of New Castle; four sons and their wives, Michael and Sweeta Forgione of Cincinnati, OH, Steve and Karen Forgione of Chesapeake, VA, Frank and Carol Forgione of Edgartown, MA, and John and Mary Lou Forgione of Allison Park, PA; one brother, Edward Zatura of Struthers, OH; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mildred Rauzan and Violet Zayac; two brothers, Albert and Elmer Zamets; one grandson, Nicholas Stuckey; and one granddaughter, Teela Wallace. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2013, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday for St. Vincent de Paul Church, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. The Rev. Father William Siple will be officiating. Burial will be in St. Lucy Cemetery.
