Margaret L. Majors, 81, of New Castle, passed away November 25, 2015 at Majors Manor. Born November 4, 1934 in Portersville, she was the daughter of Samuel Ross and Hallie Veree Hoobler Garner. She was preceded in death on May 15, 2008 by her husband Clayton Majors. Margaret was a member of Faith Country Chapel. She was a proud mother of four wonderful daughters. She enjoyed spending time fishing & shopping. Margaret is survived by four daughters, Sherry (Darry) Johnston, Jody (Jim) Lang, Kim Majors, and Wendy (Tom) Haswell all of New Castle; one brother, Lawrence (Sue) Garner of Sharpsville; one sister, Sandee (Dennis) McHattie of Butler; ten grandchildren, Paula (Brian) Boughter, Joshua (Christina) Copper, Brandon (Kristen) Hinkle, Matt Hinkle, Jennifer (Jeff) Burgess, Steven (Tara) Lang, Katie Majors, Jacob Haswell, Marcus Haswell, and Sam Haswell; seven great grandchildren, Dylan and Savannah Hinkle, Zane Boughter, Madison and Butch Burgess, Mayci and Dafni Lang. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother and sister-in-law Bill and Sue Garner; one great grandson, Nathaniel Copper. Visitation will be held on Friday from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 2429 Wilmington Road. A funeral service will take place immediately following visitation on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Steve Miller and Rev. Russell VanNest officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Faith Country Chapel for support of the Van Nest Adoption Fund.
