As the sun rose on December 22, 2014, Margaret J. Olson entered into Heaven while her daughter, Susan Keller Zehetner, held one hand and her beloved granddaughter, Courtney Elizabeth Zehetner held her "buddy buddy's" other hand. Born June 21, 1938 in New Castle, she was a daughter of John L. and Margaret Johnson Shaw. Jeannette operated an in-home licensed day care and she was the nursery room supervisor for over 25 years at Independent Methodist Church. Jeannette enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking and baking for them. Among her other interests were traveling to casinos with friends and family, and gardening. She enjoyed golfing and was most proud of the hole-in-one she shot at Borland's Golf Course. She will be missed dearly by her two kitties, Willie and Mocha, whom she adored. Jeannette was a former member of the New Castle Paws and Taws and a member of Shenango Presbyterian Church She is surivived by one daughter, Susan (Erich) Zehetner of New Castle; one son, Edward (Betty) Keller of New Castle; one brother, Robert Shaw of Spirit Lake, Iowa; and two granddaughters, Courtney Elizabeth Zehetner and Ashlee Keller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Jack Shaw. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road. A funeral service will take place immediately following visitation Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Amy Na officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
