Margaret "Peggy" Patterson, 77, of New Castle, paased away the morning of April 21, 2011 at her residence.Born August 3, 1933 in New Castle, she was the daughter of Donald E. and Reba K. Robison Florida. She married Harold Patterson. He preceded her in death.Peggy was an LPN. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and cross stitching. Peggy was a member of Eastbrook United Methodist Church where she formerly had been the organist and choir director.She is survived by her son, Robert Patterson of Atlantic City, NJ.Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold Patterson; a daughter, Barbara J. Patterson; and a son, William Patterson.Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 23, 2011, at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road.A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 23, 2011, at the funeral home. The Rev. Terry Shaughnessy will officiate.
