Margaret A. Reese, 71, of New Castle, passed away the morning of September 5, 2018 at her home, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born September 24, 1946 in Eagle Lake, Maine, she was the daughter of Ludger and Mary (Raleigh) Toussaint. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Charles E. Reese, whom she married August 1, 1964. Margaret was a graduate of Fort Kent High School in Fort Kent, Maine. She was a homemaker, taking care of her family who was her greatest joy. She attended St. Marys Catholic Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Natalie (Brad) Hess of Pittsburgh, Lorrie (Michael) Carpino of Stuart, Florida and Danielle Reese of Pittsburgh; six brothers, Buddy, Claud, Jack, Louie, Michael and Fred; two sisters, Barb and Maureen; six grandchildren, Isaac Hess, Madelyn Hess, Samantha Antenucci, Kasie Sansonetti, Anthony Sansonetti and Collin Carpino; and one great-grandson, Frankie Sciarretti. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Jim, one sister Jeanne and an infant sister. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 10, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. A Blessing Service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at Castle View Cemetery with the Rev.
