Marie Brest, 84, of Neshannock Township, passed away February 7, 2015 at her residence. Born May 31, 1930 in Reggio Calabria, Italy, she was a daughter of Angelone and Saveria Serravano Congiusta. She was preceded in death on July 3, 1987 by her husband, Francis Brest. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her great grandchildren. She was a member of St. Vitus Church. Marie is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Theresa and Byron Hill of New Castle; two brothers, Frank Congiusta and John Congiusta, both of Italy; three sisters, Theresa Diene, Isabella Sgroo and Memme Congiusta, all of Italy; 1 granddaughter, Barbara Maxwell and her husband Mark; and 3 great grandchildren, Adam, Maria and Gabriel Bryant. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Victoria. A private service was held on Tuesday at the R.
