Marie Smith Quinn, 84, formerly of S. Scotland Lane, passed peacefully December 30, 2019 after an extended illness. She was preceded in death on June 28, 2010 by her husband, James D. Quinn, whom she married November 30, 1953. Marie was known for her continuous gift of love towards people. She enjoyed visits with her children and grandchildren, gardening, as well as taking pride in her yard. While raising her children you could find her somewhere on a field cheering them on to a victory. She is survived by her sons, Charles (Shari) Quinn and Michael Quinn; seven granddaughters; six great-granddaughters and six great-grandsons; and her loving niece, Jodi Smith. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, James T. Quinn, and a brother, Joe Smith. In keeping with Marie's wishes, a private celebration of life with her family will be held at a later date.
