Marijane Dean, 70, of 245 Chippewa Drive, passed away the afternoon of February 16, 2015 at her residence. Born March 22, 1944 in New Castle, she was a daughter of William and Vivian Dukes. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Gary L. Dean, whom she married January 15, 1966. A 1962 graduate of New Castle High School, Marijane was a homemaker, taking care of her husband and her two sons. She was a former member of Clen-Moore Presbyterian Church. In addition to her husband Gary, she is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, William and Gizelle Dean and Thomas and Stephanie Dean, all of New Castle; and 3 grandchildren, Brie, Evan and Cameron Dean. She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandchild, Avery Dean. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road. A funeral service will take place immediately following visitation at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home and will be officiated by Rev. John Yergan. Burial will be in Castle View Gardens.
