Marilyn J. Fye, 82, formerly of Pearl Street, passed away July 28, 2015 at Edison Manor. Born November 25, 1932 in Youngstown, Ohio, she was a daughter of Alfred W. and Selma L. Carlson Swanson. She was preceded in death on August 15, 1987 by her husband, Edward Fye, whom she married September 7, 1956. Marilyn was employed with Liberty Mutual for 12 years and was a member of Epworth Methodist Church. She is survived by one son, Bruce E Fye of New Castle; one daughter, Kimberly Dengler of New Castle; two sisters, Linda Duda of New Castle and Esther Henry of Bessemer; and one granddaughter, Sara. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Visitation will be held on Friday from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road.
