Marilyn Hanna, age 93, of New Castle, formerly of Eastbrook, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2024, In New Castle, PA.

Born September 22, 1930, in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Elizabeth (Houston) McKee.

On August 25, 1950, Marilyn married to her beloved husband, Donald Hanna of 69 years. He preceded her in death on September 16, 2019.

Marilyn was a graduate of Eastbrook High School. She was a homemaker who loved baking, singing, playing piano, boating and fishing. She was a member of Eastbrook UP Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir.

Marilyn is survived by 3 daughters, Susan Hanna of Harrisburg, PA, Janet (Kenneth) Schooley of New Castle, PA, and Nancy (Marty) Post of New Castle, PA; one son, Thomas Michael "T.M." (Felicia) Hanna of Sterling, VA; Eight grandchildren, Joshua (Dani) Hanna, Trevor Hanna, Lavanya Hanna, Troy (Karla) Schooley, Trisha (Greg) Huston, Trena (Shane) Miller, Cody Post, and Casey (Georgia) Post; thirteen great grandchildren, Trey, Reese, and Kenley Schooley, Grace and Grant Huston, McKenna, Adelynn, Brielle, Easton and Sage Miller, Ketron and Ruby Post, and Juniper Hanna.

In addition to her husband and parents, Marilyn is preceded in death by her brother, Thomas McKee, her sister, Joann Kerr, and a daughter-in-law, Diane Hanna.

Visitation will be held on Thurs. April 4th from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM and Fri. April 5th 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM, at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.

A funeral service will be held Friday April 5th at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jason Schepp officiating.

Burial will be at Briar Hill Cemetery alongside her husband.
