Obituary

Marilyn D. Koch, 81, of New Castle, passed away the afternoon of December 15, 2014 at Golden Hill Nursing Home. Born February 16, 1933, she was the daughter of Floyd and Evelyn Evans. Marilyn married David M. Dickinson and he passed away in 1982. She later married Robert Koch and he also preceded her in death in 2002. A graduate of New Brighton High School, she was a legal secretary and later worked as a secretary to the judge at the Beaver County Courthouse. She enjoyed crocheting. Marilyn was a member of the First Methodist Church in New Brighton. She is survived by her daughter, Dawn Sepulveda of New Castle and Dawn's fiance, Peter Walsh of Hubbard, OH; a daughter-in-law, Joyce Dickinson of West Palm Beach, FL; a brother, James Evans of New Castle; a sister, Ruth Ann and Andy Krawchyk of New Brighton; four grandchildren, Michael Dickinson, Emily Dickinson, Molly Ann Dugan, and David Dickinson; 13 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and both husbands, Marilyn was preceded in death by her son, David E. Dickinson in July 2014; a granddaughter, Katie McVicker; and a son-in-law, Eugene J. Sepulveda. Visitation will be from 11-noon on Thursday at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road. A funeral service will take place at noon Thursday, immediately following visitation. The Rev. John Yergan will officiate. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery in New Brighton.
