Marion C. Hill, 96, of New Castle passed away on the afternoon of September 5, 2024, at The Haven Convalescent Home.

Born on March 21, 1928, in Appleton, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of William and Linda (Klinko) Meyer. She married Douglas Hill who preceded her in death in 1984.

Marion was employed with the Humane Society. She was a member of Croton United Methodist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Joan Rogers and Peggy Rogers, both of New Castle; two sons, Steve Rogers of New Castle and Don Rogers of Rochester, PA; two daughters-in-laws, Minnie Bosela and Mary Anne Gavrile, both of New Castle; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded by one brother, Merrill Meyer; one son, Bob Rogers; one daughter, Kay Rogers.

Visitation will be held Monday, September 9th, from 4:00 – 5:00 PM at R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road.

Funeral services will immediately follow visitation at 5:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Matthew Bupp officiating.

Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the ownership and staff of the Haven Convalescent Home for their loving care of Marion.
