Marjorie Jean (Hogue) Armstrong, age 96, passed away on April 8, 2024. She was surrounded by her loving family. Born May 20, 1927, she was the daughter of Clarence and Mary (Thompson) Hogue.

Marjorie is a graduate of Slippery Rock High School and Grove City College. She worked for 28 years at the Pennsylvania Engineering Corp (PECOR).

Marjorie was a former board member of the Shenango Presbyterian Home. She was active in the Jameson Junior Guild, Castle Paws and Taws, Prime Timers and Challenges. She was a member of Northminster Presbyterian Church. Marjorie's family was the greatest joy of her life and her most precious day each year was spending "Grandma's Day" with her five granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 34 years Hugh Armstrong, her son Rand McConahy, daughter-in-law Mary McConahy, and her loving companion of 20 years Claude Stewart.

She is survived by her son Scott McConahy, five granddaughters: Sherri (Steve) McCurdy, Shelly (Dan) DePaolo, Jill (Mark) Trott, Krysten (Scott) Gereb, and Lauren (Michael) Morgan, 12 great grandchildren and one more expected any day now, and 1 great great grandson. Her brothers Robert Hogue and Richard Hogue also survive.

Honoring Marjorie's wishes, there will be no services.
