Marjorie E. Herr, 82, passed away the evening of Oct. 29, 2012 at the Overlook Nursing Home.Born in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Ruth Gibson Irwin.She was a graduate of New Castle High School, and the wife of the late James L. Herr.She is survived by two sons, James Herr and Edward Herr; and a daughter, Linda Titus. She is also survived by two sisters, Eleanor Bonner and Marlene McFarland; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.Margie was a homemaker who liked to garden, cook and read. She was a kind, loving wife and mother, always cheerful and loved by everyone.Visitation will be Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Rd.Private interment will be Friday, Nov. 2, 2012 at Oak Park Cemetery.
