Marjorie McAnlis McElwain Miller passed away peacefully on October 15, 2025, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.

She was born, March 5, 1928, in New Galilee, to William and Mae (Jenkins) McAnlis. She married Carl McElwain on March 11, 1960, who preceded her in death on January 23, 2000. Subsequently, she married Clair Miller on November 17, 2001. He proceeded her in death on March 10, 2020.

She was a Mt. Jackson High School Graduate. She went on to become a licensed beautician and practiced out of her home. In 2004, Marjorie retired after 50 years of service as a volunteer leader for many 4-H clubs, where she inspired and guided generations of youth. Some of those clubs included bowling, roller skating, stilt walking and baby care. Marjorie traveled to all 50 states and enjoyed many winters spent in Florida with her husband. She was also an active and devoted member of Rose Point Reformed Presbyterian Church. Marjorie will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and unwavering commitment to her family, faith, and community.

Marjorie is survived by her daughter, Julie (and Mark) Maurer of North Versailles; one stepdaughter, Glee Miller, of Cookville, TN; four grandchildren, Joshua, Elia, Emma, and Eva Maurer; six step-grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded by her parents, husbands, three sisters, Dorothy English, Marie Morrow, Lillie Mae McAnlis; and five brothers, Paul McAnlis, Wayne McAnlis, Robert McAnlis, Ralph McAnlis and Lee McAnlis.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17, from 11 AM to 2 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.

A funeral service will be the same day at 4:00 PM at Rose Point Reformed Presbyterian Church with Rev. Charles Brown officiating.

Burial will be at Rose Point Cemetery.
