Marjorie Lou Trover, 93, of New Castle, passed away the evening of October 29, 2020 at her daughter's home in Edinburg. Born December 15, 1926 in New Castle, she was the daughter of Osborne J. and Louise Helen (Weaver) Davies. Marjorie was preceded in death on March 6, 1997 by her beloved husband of 51 years, James F. Trover, whom she married February 7, 1946. In earlier years she was employed with Bell Telephone as an operator and with Strouss Department Store as a clerk until she became a homemaker. Marjorie was an avid fan of Pittsburgh ball teams, especially the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Steelers. She enjoyed gardening, especially her flower garden, and attending Bible studies. She was a member of Croton United Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy E. and Bruce Gibson of Edinburg. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, John T. Davies and Robert J. Davies. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no services. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in Oak Park Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the R.
