Mark Nelson Slinn, age 62, of New Castle, PA, passed away on July 19, 2026.

Born May 28, 1964, in Natick, MA, he was the son of the late Arthur Slinn and Doris (Metta) Slinn-Mitchell.

Mark was a graduate of Youngstown State University, where he earned his bachelor's degree, in computer science. He worked in the entertainment industry, where he owned and operated his own business. Mark enjoyed deep sea fishing, visiting Puerto Rico, playing pickle ball, working on computers, riding dirtbikes, listening to Reggaeton and most of all, spending time with his sons. He was of the Christian faith.

Survivors include two sons, Mark Slinn and his fiancé Jessica Mistretta, and David Slinn and mother of their sons, former spouse Julie Slinn-Martello, all of New Castle, PA; one brother, Tracy Slinn and his companion, Crystal Ewing, both of Maryland, two stepbrothers, Eric Mitchell of Kentucky and Phillip (Julie) Mitchell of Texas; and stepfather Robert Mitchell.

In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by a sister-in-law Rena Mitchell.

In honoring his wishes private services will be held.

Burial will be at Castle View alongside his father.
