Mark Lewis
Turner
Apr 11, 1957 — Jan 24, 2025
Mark Lewis Turner, age 67, of New Castle, passed away the evening of January 24, 2025, after a brief illness, surrounded by loved ones.
Born April 11, 1957, in New Castle, he was the son of Ralph E. and Lorraine M. (Smith) Turner.
Mark is survived by his wife of 41 years, Melanie Rose (Miller) Turner, whom he married Sept. 24, 1983.
A graduate of New Castle High School, he served his country in the US Air Force.
As a master mechanic, he worked with several car dealerships in New Castle. He started a successful business, Concealment Concepts Inc. He designed, manufactured, wholesaled, and retailed personal carry holsters and accessories. Mark was very talented. He was a master craftsman in woodworking and carpentry.
Among his many interests, he enjoyed shooting, woodworking, cooking, canning, and agonizing over his lawn. He took pride in his Cadillac and spent many hours polishing it. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family and friends.
His sense of humor was infectious, and he had the ability to make everyone laugh. Always the first to lend a hand, others could count on him to know exactly what to do and how to do it. His smile, his laugh, his advice and his love will be missed by all who knew him.
Mark had a strong Christian faith and was a member of Clen-Moore Presbyterian Church.
In addition to his wife Melanie, he is survived by two daughters, Marcy Turner of Butler and Devon Turner-Agostino of Harrisville, PA; three sons, Justin (Valeria) Turner of Italy, Mark Turner and Brian (Adelle) Turner all of New Castle; two brothers, Bill (Kathy) Turner and Tom Turner of New Castle; one sister, Margy Turner of New Castle; and six grandchildren, Collin, Carrie, Olivia, Owen, Madison and Riley.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son-in-law, Thomas Agostino; and sister-in-law, Bonny Turner.
