Marlene J. Lupo, 79, of Neshannock Township, passed away the morning of April 27, 2021 at her residence. Born August 4, 1941 in New Castle, she was the daughter of Patsy and Angeline (Micco) Ragnelli. She was preceded in death on November 28, 2014 by her husband of 53 years, Robert C. Lupo, whom she married August 26, 1961. A 1959 graduate of New Castle High School, she received her Licensed Real Estate Certification through Penn State. Marlene was employed as an office manager with Mrozek Financial and previously, Diversified Advisors. In her younger years, Marlene loved to dance and enjoyed directing her husband, Bob, in his landscaping and yard care duties. Throughout her lifetime she enjoyed shopping, camping, playing cards and baking. Watching her granddaughter dance and cheer and seeing her grandson playing sports was her greatest joy. She was all about love, friends and family and showed her love everyday to her husband, her daughters and her grandchildren. She was a member of St. Camillus, Holy Spirit Parish. She is survived by her daughters, Robin (Brian) Prossen of New Castle and Marlana Lupo (fiancé Rick Price) of Dunn, NC; two sisters, Patty Mangino and Shirley Ragnelli of New Castle; four sisters-in-law, Carol Lupo, Jeanne Frasso and Mary Ann Veltre, all of New Castle, and Emily Peters of Poland, OH; and two grandchildren, J.R. Prossen and Gia Prossen. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers-in-law, Norman "Sonny" Lupo, Robert Veltre, and Albert Mangino. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 1, from 10:00-12:00 at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.
