Marsha Mae Cantrell, 62, of 126 Walnut Lane, West Sunbury, PA, passed away the morning of March 9, 2015 at West Penn Hospital.
Born November 23, 1952 in New Castle, she was a daughter of Lewis W. and Josephine A. Yeck Cunningham.
She was preceded in death on August 16, 1987 by her first husband, Aurther John Ross, whom she married October 31, 1972.
Surviving at home is her second husband, Keith Cantrell whom she married on May 20, 2000.
Marsha was a 1970 graduate of Neshannock High School. She pursued her registered nursing degree from Sharon General School of Nursing where she graduated second in her class in 1972.
She was employed with Giant Eagle as a cashier for two years, and was a member of Clen-Moore Presbyterian Church.
In her earlier years, Marsha enjoyed Girl Scouts. She liked crafts, cherished her grandchildren, and was known to others as always having a happy disposition in life.
In addition to her husband Keith, she is survived by two daughters, Heidi Mae (Wade) Ross-Michaels of Portersville, Pa, and Maggie Louise Matthews of New Castle; one son, Matthew John (Kristine) Ross of Masury, Ohio; one brother, Garry P. Cunningham of New Castle; a half-brother, Lewis W. Cunningham; a half-sister, Peggy Doerr of New Castle; 4 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, and a half-brother, William W. Cunningham.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.
A funeral service will take place immediately following visitation Thursday at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Amy Na officiating.
Marsha will be laid to rest in Oak Park Cemetery.
