Martha Elizabeth Boulden, age 91, formerly of Hunters Woods, passed away the morning of May 14, 2016 at Clen-Moore Place in New Castle. Born December 15, 1924 in New Castle, she was the daughter of Homer J. and Alice M. Patchell Houck. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Boulden, on July 3, 1997. Martha and her husband were the owners of the Shenango Motel in New Castle. She was a member of the Eagles Club and Wimodausis. Her greatest time was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She attended Northminster Presbyterian Church. She is survived by two daughters, Mary Ann (Kenneth) Carnahan and Bonnie (Carroll) Smith of New Castle; one son, Terry (Karen) Boulden of New Castle; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, William Houck and Charles Houck; and two sisters, Delma Sanford and Jennie Collins. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, with the Rev. Andrew Jillson and Rev. Matthew Bupp officiating.
