Martha Elizabeth Kray, 86, of New Castle, passed away the morning of April 27, 2010 in UPMC Montefiore Hospital.Born March 31, 1924 in Pulaski, PA, she was a daughter of Perry Leroy and Louise Fulkerson Frye.Martha married Willard L. Kray on October 6, 1962. He preceded her in death on April 30, 1990.She served in the Women's Auxiliary Army Corp during World War II.Martha was retired from Penn Power Co. as a dispatcher with the line department.She was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan and also enjoyed bowling, square dancing, camping and her dog, Gidget.Martha was a member of First Presbyterian Church.Survivors include one niece, Margie Lutton of Ellwood City; one great nephew and several great nieces; several great great nephews and nieces; and one great great great niece.She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.Visitation will be Thursday, April 29, 2010, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. and Friday, April 30, 2010, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle, PA.A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 30, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. John Yergan will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Park Cemetery.Military rites will be conducted by the New Castle Area Honor Guard.
