Martha E. Wike McClymonds, 87, formerly of 1825 Colonial Drive New Castle passed away on Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011 at the Jameson Care Center.Born July 9, 1923 in Enon Valley, she was the daughter of the late John B. and Mary B. Eichler Wike. She married Clair L McClymonds on July 23, 1946 and he preceded her in death on August 17th, 2004. Martha was a homemaker who enjoyed painting and crafts. She was an accomplished writer and published two books, Tears and Rainbows, and Chain of Love. She was a member of the Paws and Taws Square Dance Club, Wimodausis and Clen-Moore Presbyterian Church.Martha is survived by one daughter, Saundra and her husband Charles Seinkner of New Castle, a daughter-in -law Jean McClymonds of Senora, California; and two brothers Richard Wike of Memphis, Tennessee and James Wike of Youngstown, Ohio.In addition to her husband and parents Martha was preceded in death by a son Gareth L. McClymonds; five sisters, Alice Byler, Mable Barker, Ethel Dawson, Ruth Gleghorn and Eleanor Campbell; and two brothers, Wayne and William Wike.Visitation will be Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2011, from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road.A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2011, at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. with The Rev.
