Obituary

Mary L. Aller, 88, formerly of New Castle, passed away the morning of October 19, 2018 at Trinity Living Center in Grove City, PA. Born October 9, 1930 in New Castle, she was the daughter of James and Agnes (Must) Perry. She was preceded in death on February 4, 2014 by her husband of 28 years, Freeman D. Aller, Jr. whom she married January 17, 1986. Mary worked as a Stanley Home Products demonstrator where she achieved the highest awards for outstanding sales in Pennsylvania. Prior, she served as a waitress for various restaurants and was an assistant to the staff at a State Farm Insurance agency. Mary was known for wanting to help others. She enjoyed playing Bingo and going to the casino. Most important to her was spending time with her family and often cooking for their family get- togethers. She was of the Roman Catholic faith. She is survived by one daughter, Debra L. Turk of New Castle; one son, Gary L. (Connie) Stembal of Grove City; one brother, Raymond Perry of New Castle; three sisters, Frances Steffler of Ellwood City, Agnes Rooks and Jean Klecknar both of New Castle; four grandchildren, Amber (Brian) Crescini of Grove City, Carl (Seana) Stembal of Maryville, TN, Justin (Christine)Turk of Anaheim Hills, CA and Brett (Kate) Turk of Malvern, PA; eight great-grandchildren, Tayler Persinger, Jaya Persinger, Cole Persinger, Brooke Stembal, Owen Stembal , Cordelia Turk, Everett Turk, Rose Turk and one step-great-grandchild, Jack Crescini. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Perry and one sister, Caroline Simmons. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 22, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. A funeral service will take place immediately following visitation Monday at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home with her grandson, Carl Stembal, officiating. Burial will be in St. Josephs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Living Center Activities Fund, 400 Hillcrest Avenue, Grove City, PA 16127.
