Mary Ethel Baker passed away peacefully on February 28, 2025 at UPMC Jameson.

Mrs. Baker was born on July 28, 1932, in Eastbrook, to the late Daniel and Mary (Ellis) Floyd.

Mary was a 1950 graduate of New Castle Senior High School. She was married to her husband of 34 years, William Baker who preceded her in death.

Mary attended Washington Union Alliance Church. She worked as an Inventory Clerk at Johnson Bronze and a Clerk at G.C. Murphy Co.

Mrs. Baker is survived by her children, Nancy (Ben) Jones of Brookneal, VA., Daniel (Margret) Baker, Linda (William) Laux; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; One sister, Lois (Andy) Thompson of Yakima, WA ; 7 nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna, two sisters, Dorothy Kerr and Jean Myers, and two brothers, William and Glenn Floyd.

Interment will be at Graceland Cemetery.
