Mary Katherine "Mary Kay" Boyle, 55, of New Castle, passed away unexpectedly the morning of July 10, 2015 at her residence.
Born March 5, 1960 in New Castle, she was the daughter of Edward Joseph Kimmel and Doris Baney Kimmel.
She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Timothy Boyle, whom she married November 1, 1987.
A 1978 graduate of New Castle High School, she also attended the Pittsburgh Art Institute for photography.
She was employed for 20 years with Critter Corner as a groomer.
Mary Kay was an animal lover, also involved with animal rescues. She enjoyed Penguin Hockey and Pittsburgh Pirates Baseball. She played in a corn hole league in Sharon, and loved the beach, motorcycles and photography.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she is survived by two brothers, Daniel Kimmel of Michigan and Michael (Terry) Kimmel of New Castle; three sisters, Judy (Paul) Fronius of New Castle, Deborah (Gregory) Fountaine of Greensburg, Pa., and Lynnette Kimmel of Atlanta, Ga.; 10 nieces and nephews; 2 great nephews; a sister-in-law, Carol Lyons of New Castle; and her mother-in-law, Hazel Boyle of New Castle.
She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.
A Memorial Service will take place immediately following visitation Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
