Mary Ann Buly, 75, of New Castle, passed away the morning of August 22, 2018 at UPMC Passavant Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Born July 18, 1943 in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of Rudolph A. and Rose L. (Gullet) Verhosek.
Mary Ann is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Harry Buly.
Mary Ann was a devout disciple of God. When she wasnt creating home cooked meals for her family, doting on her loving husband or playing games with her grandkids, she was devoting her time and talents to St. James the Apostle Church.
Mary Ann lived a life that made her family and friends proud and honored to call her wife, mom, sister, daughter, grandma, aunt and friend.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a loving family who adored her; her mother, Rose Verhosek of New Castle; children Deborah and Terry Mann of New Castle, Lisa and Jim Nelson of Bessemer, John and Beth Buly of Canton, Georgia, Bridget and Craig Miller of New Castle and Matthew and Lauri Buly of New Wilmington; brother Rudy & Josephine Verhosek of Cleveland, Ohio; sister Betty & Bob Hessel of Copley, Ohio; grandchildren Heather, Brandon, Joshua & Nikki, Bradley & Beth, Tyler & Lacey, Nicholas & Grace, Noah, Harrison, Lillian, Brooks and Brinn; and great-grandchildren; Brandon, Cody, Keith, Hailey, Whiloh, Noah, Chesney, and Gannon.
She was preceded in death by her father and one sister, Virginia Jarab.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 24, from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.
A procession will leave the funeral home Saturday morning at 9:20 a.m. for St. James the Apostle Church on US 422 in Pulaski where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. The Rev. Father Philip Farrell will officiate. Burial will be in St. James Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. James the Apostle Parish to be used for their childrens ministries.
