Mary E. Bupp, 98, of New Castle passed away the night of June 28, 2017 at Jameson Care Center. Born in Pittsburgh on July 24, 1918, she was a daughter of Cassius H. and Amelia Wurtz Campell. On May 16, 1981, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth Watters. She subsequently married Paul Bupp on June 16, 1984. He passed away on September 14, 2014. Mary was employed at Bell of Pennsylvania and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. She was a member of First Wesleyan Church, now known as New Hope Wesleyan Church. Survivors include one son, Gary L. (Patricia) Watters of Cranberry Township; two grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents; both husbands; and both brothers, Jack and Don Campbell. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 on Friday at R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. A funeral service will be held immediately following visitation on Friday at 11:00 at the funeral home with Rev. Gary DeWitt officiating. Burial will be in Allegheny County Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Bupp's name to New Hope Wesleyan Church, 2300 Pulaski Road, New Castle, PA 16105.
