Mary Lou Commesso, age 89 of Edinburg, Pa., passed away on December 13, 2019, at the Avalon Place, in New Castle. Born May 7, 1930, in New Castle, she was the daughter of Thomas and Wilda (Boyd) Mayberry. She was the wife of Rocco Commesso, whom she was married to for 68 years. He preceded her in death on Dec. 6, 2016. Mrs. Commesso was a homemaker and cherished spending time with her family, the most. The holidays were her favorite time of the year to decorate and enjoy the season.Mary Lou attended New Life Baptist Church. Mary Lou is survived by one daughter, Kathy (Frank) Lorello of Edinburg, Pa; two sons, Lou (Rene) Commesso of New Castle, Pa., and Gary (Carrie) Commesso of Beaver Falls, Pa; 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Along with her parents and husband, Mary Lou was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Thomas and Richard Mayberry and one sister, Maxine Willaman.
