Mary Jane 'Metz' Davis, age 90, of New Castle, PA, passed away the early morning of Aug. 26, 2025, at Shenango on the Green.

Born Jan. 9, 1935, in Wampum, PA, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur O. and Mabel L. (Boots) Vance.

She was married for 50 years to beloved husband, Dale J. Davis, who preceded her in death on Feb. 28, 2006.

Mary was a homemaker who loved taking care of her family. She enjoyed the times they were able to gather around her table for the holidays or a family dinner. Mary will always be remembered for the unconditional love she had for each of them.

Survivors include her two daughters, Joyce Deck of West Pittsburg, PA, and Terri Harper of Edinburg, PA; three grandchildren, Brittany (Brandon) Arena, Lacey Harper, and Taylor Weinschenk; and three great-grandchildren, Lincoln Arena, Rowan Arena and Kori Harper.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Orin Vance.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no visitation or services.

Burial will be alongside her husband at Graceland Cemetery.
