Mary Elizabeth Haas, 96, formerly of Hunters Woods, passed away the afternoon of June 22, 2012 at Jameson Care Center.Born March 17, 1916 in Grandview Heights, Columbus, Ohio, she was a daughter of Fred J. and Edith E. Fenner Schmitt.She married Arthur L. Haas on February 14, 1942. He preceded her in death on August 1, 1980.She was a graduate of Moorefield High School in Springfield, Ohio and attended secretarial school.Mary enjoyed being a homemaker, taking care of her husband and her two children.She was a member of Northminster Presbyterian Church.She is survived by a daughter, S. Kipley Haas of New Castle; a son, Kurt A. Haas and wife Gretchen of Sparta, New Jersey; and one grandson, Charles A. (Jennifer) Haas of New Jersey.She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Northminster Presbyterian Church, 2434 Wilmington Road. The Rev.
