Mary E. Kline, 91, formerly of Buena Vista Way, New Castle, passed away the afternoon of February 14, 2014 at Shenango Presbyterian SeniorCare in New Wilmington. Born November 3, 1922 in Eastvale, PA, she was a daughter of William and Anna Calhoun Hahn.She was preceded in death on January 16, 2011 by her husband of 62 years, Stephen Kline, whom she married September 25, 1948. Mary was a 1941 graduate of Beaver Falls High School. She was a homemaker, taking care of her husband and their three children. Mary was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church where she often helped in the kitchen, and was a member of the Priscilla Circle. She enjoyed bowling and being a member of the City Rescue Mission Auxiliary and delivered meals for Meals on Wheels. She is survived by two daughters, Nancy (Paul) Cummings of New Castle, and Shirley (Ray) Janoski of West Middlesex; one son, Stephen W. (Okjoo) Kline of New Castle; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers,Louis, Paul and James Hahn. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 17, 2014, from 4-7 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, February 18, 2014, at 11 a,m. at the funeral home and will be officiated by Rev. Carl Sacherich. Burial will be in Castle View Gardens.
