Mary Misco, 88, of 816 Moffatt Road, New Castle, passed away the morning of September 19, 2011 at her residence.Born May 10, 1923 in New Castle, she was a daughter of Antonio and Guiseppina Russo Gallo.She was married to Mike Misco for 48 years until his passing on January 10, 1999.Mary was in the dairy farm business with her husband for 46 years. She also was a school bus driver in the Laurel School District for 22 years.She enjoyed spending time with her family, loved animals, and going to Mary Mother of Hope Church where she was a member.She is survived by her three daughters; Marjie (Lee) Scott of East Palestine, OH, Marilyn (Jon) Garczynski of New Castle, and Mary Ann Wheeler and her companion Les Eazor of New Castle; one son, Michael (Kathy) Misco of New Castle; six grandchildren, Bryon Scott, Kevin Scott, Eric Scott, Rachelle Bunnell, Michael Misco, Jr., and Christina Garczynski; and two great-grandchildren, Haydon Scott and Lincoln Bunnell.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Guy, Pete, John and Salvatore Gallo. Visition will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2011, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Thursday, Sept. 22, 2011, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road. A procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, 2011, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Church. The Rev. Father Victor Molka will officiate.Burial will be in St. Philip and James Cemetery.
