Mary Elizabeth "Beth" Moorhouse, 65, of Pulaski, PA, passed away the morning of February 20, 2016, at Jameson Hospital. Mary was born on July 6, 1950, to the late Norman V. and Jessie M. White Fisher. She was a 1968 graduate of New Castle High School. Mary continued her education at the Shenango Valley School of Business, graduating with an Associate's Degree in 1987. She became Mrs. Mary Moorhouse when she married her husband, Robert Moorhouse. He survives. Mrs. Moorhouse worked for 29 years at the Jameson Memorial Hospital, finishing her career in the Central Division. She enjoyed family gatherings, crafting, her trips to Florida and bowling and line dancing, in her youth. Mary was a devoted member of Wesley United Methodist Church. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Moorhouse is survived by her two daughters, Kimberley Penwell and husband, Chris, Stacey Leasure and her fiancé, Jamie Woodruff all of New Castle; two sons, Doug Shields of New Wilmington, Edward Shields and his wife, Nichole of New Bedford; two step children, Tomi Moorhouse of Ravenna, OH, Susan Kern and her husband, Scott of Kirby, OR; two brothers, Ray Fisher and his wife Ann, Frank Fisher and his wife Mariann all of New Castle; 3 sisters, Margret Lynn Hohn and her husband, Albert, Patricia Marmo, all of New Castle, Virginia Wainwright of Rice Landing, PA; 17 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Visitation will take place on Tuesday from 5-8 pm and Wednesday from 11-12 pm at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Rd. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at noon at the funeral home. Pastor Thom Scott will officiate. Burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery in New Bedford.
