Mary Jane Pasqualino, 96, went to be with her Lord in the early morning of Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Jameson Hospital. Mary was born in Warren, OH on December 8, 1916 to Dominic and Anna Ciferno Miller. The family moved to New Castle, PA in 1919 and that is where Mary made her home and lived her life. Mary was a 1935 graduate of NeCaHigh and attended the New Castle Business College. She worked at JB Foster Real Estate for 60 years retiring at age 78 only after JB Foster, Jr. passed on. Mary started there as a secretary and bookkeeper and eventually earned her real estate license. She was active during those years with the National Secretaries and Quota Club. Mary was also a 40+ year cancer survivor. It affected her body but did not define her life. She continued to work and enjoy many years of life with her family. Mary soundly defeated cancer. Mary loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a great cook, a wonderful baker and a die-hard Steeler fan. Sunday's were at Grandma's house for homemade dinner, pies and a win for the black and gold. She was one of 10 children. Eight preceded Mary in passing, including, Susie Miller, Rose Milan, Pearl Miller, John Miller, Angela Johnson, Thelma Lester, Ruth Walker Lewis and Betty Dudash. She is survived by David Miller and his wife Jean. Mary had two children. Frank Pasqualino, Jr. and his wife Susan live in Davie, FL and Marilyn Wehr and her husband Bill live in New Castle. She had three grandchildren, Lori Litrenta and her husband Chris, who live in New Castle; Michael Vatter and his wife Lindsey, who live in Conneaut Lake and Michele Martello and her husband Matt, who live in Davie, FL. Mary had four great-grandchildren, Christopher Litrenta, Jr., Matthew Vatter and Ava and Enzo Martello. Visitation will be held from 4-8 PM Tuesday, August 6, 2013, and 10-11 AM on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Rd., New Castle. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home. The Reverend Louis A. LaGatta will officiate.
