Mary Louise Shoaff Richeal, age, 97, passed away the morning of Friday, December 12, 2014 at Golden Hill Nursing Home.
Born May 14, 1917 in Plain Grove, PA, the daughter of the late Paul M. and Bertha Badger Shoaff.
Mary married William W. Richeal on June 9, 1948 and he passed away in October of 1976.
A graduate of Plain Grove High School, Mary was a homemaker who had previously worked as a telephone operator in Plain Grove for Bell Telephone and worked as a dining room aide at Shenango Presbyterian Home.
Mary was known for her talent for baking and cooking. She loved playing cards and dominoes, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and friends.
A faithful member of Eastbrook United Methodist Church, she taught Sunday school, Bible school and was a member of the church's women's group.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Kay L. and James W. Morrison of New Castle and Faye M. and Bud Quimby of New Middletown, OH; and two grandchildren, Chelsea and Ryan Quimby.
Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road. A funeral service will be held immediately following visitation at 5 p.m. The Rev. Nelson Thayer will officiate.
Burial will be at Unity Baptist Cemetery.
