Mary Ann Texter, 83, of Neshannock Township passed away the night of August 17, 2016 at her residence. Born on December 24, 1932 in Butler, PA, she was a daughter of John and Adis Ervin McCool. She was married to John Wesley Texter, Sr. who preceded her in death on June 18, 1986. Mary Ann was a member of the Springfield Church of God. She loved reading and puzzle books and Irish music. Survivors include two sons, Rev. John W. (Virginia) Texter, Jr. of Grove City, PA and Steven P. (Susan) Texter of Jamestown, PA; three daughters, Chris Ann (Ardell) Biddle of West Middlesex,PA, Cathy Linn (Tony) Daugherty of Andover, Ohio, and Lisa Jae (David) Richardson of Edinburg, PA; three brothers, Ramond "Rick" McCool, Kenneth McCool and Sam McCool; two sisters, Edith McCullough and Linda Whistler; eleven grandchildren, Matthew and Abby Texter, Jeffrey Kennedy, Micah and Eric Dell, Jordan Richardson, Emilee Atwell, Tyler Richardson and fiancé, Tyler Perry, Cole Richardson and Steven Texter; as well as five great grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by one granddaughter, Valerie Texter; one sister, Judy Pellegrene; and one brother, Jack McCool. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 on Monday at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Alan Ion officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
