Matthew James Hill, 45, of Union Township, passed away unexpectedly the evening of February 14, 2020. Born December 6, 1974 in, New Castle, PA, he was the son of James Ralph Hill and Cynthia Ann (Hennon) Hill. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Kari A. (Emerick) Hill whom he married July 24, 1999. A graduate of Shenango High School, Matt received his Associate's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University. Matt was the President of Hill Railroad Car Co. where he worked for over 30 years. Matt wore his Eagle Scout designation proudly and enjoyed assisting the Boy Scouts of America as well as being outdoors. Most of all, Matt loved his family unconditionally and enjoyed any moment they spent together. In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by four sons, Garrett Matthew Hill, Nathaniel James Hill, Maverick Joseph Hill and Tobias Spencer Hill; all of Union Township, PA. Two daughters, Randalyn Jane Hill and Alyssa Renee Hill; both of Union Township, PA. One sister, Keri Lynn Ronald of Shenango Township, PA. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 19th, from 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 2429 Wilmington Rd. New Castle, PA. A Funeral Service will take place immediately following visitation at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Greg Marshall officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks memorial contributions be made directly to the Matt's family. Arrangements are by the R.
