Melissa Jean Seybolt 47, entered peace in God November 1st, 2021, at Alleghany Health System, Grove City, PA.
Melissa was preceded in death by her father, Richard Allan Seybolt, in 2019.
Melissa is survived by the love of her life, Bryan Lemley (life partner and caregiver), of Titusville PA; Mother, Nancy Jean Seybolt, of New Castle, PA; brother and sister-in-law, Allan and Megan Seybolt; and niece, Alaina Jade Seybolt. She also leaves behind two cats who were like her kids, Lilo and Rockso.
Melissa was born in New Castle, PA on February 26th, 1974, to Richard Allan Seybolt and Nancy Jean Seybolt.
She graduated from Laurel High School in 1992. She acquired her degree in Psychology from the University of Slippery Rock in 2001.
Melissa dedicated her passion of helping young children with Community Alternative before her illness that led to kidney and pancreas transplant and numerous health issues.
Melissa was a devoted member of the family and one who was quick to protect the family even if it meant protecting her little brother while dressed in her cheerleading outfit to solve and issue. Melissa enjoyed music and has gotten the opportunity to go to several live concerts in her day. One of her favorite concerts was seeing Rob Zombie with her friend and kindred spirit Bobo. She really enjoyed being with people that made her laugh and she enjoyed having a good time. Melissa had a great sense of humor and occasionally, would like to play a practical joke on someone for a good laugh.
There will be no services at this time, however, the family would like others to keep the family in their thoughts and prayers.
In hindsight, Melissa truly loved animals, memorial contributions can be made to Lawrence County Animal Relief Fund at LC-ARF, PO Box 8514, New Castle, PA 16107.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. of New Castle where online condolences may be offered at www.cunninghamfh.com
