Merriam M. Stump, 90, of Neshannock Township, passed away the morning of November 5, 2020 at UPMC Jameson Hospital.
Born May 19, 1930 in Unionville, PA, she was the daughter of Charles and Elma (Smith) Miller.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Stump, Sr.
Prior to her retirement, Merriam was a cashier at Dairy Mart, Pennz-Mart and 7-11, and also an administrative assistant at Penn Power.
Merriam was the oldest living member of Edinburg Christian Church. An avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, she also loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by one son, Michael (Christine) Stump of Newtown, PA; a daughter-in-law, Carol Stump of Neshannock Township; and five grandchildren, William Stump of Philadelphia, Regan Stump, Rebecca Stump and Kelly Peters all of Newtown, and Bobby Peters of New Jersey.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two step-sons, William Stump, Jr. and Russell Stump.
A Memorial Service will be held privately at a later date.
