Michael T. Carter, age 62, of New Castle, passed away the afternoon of Jan. 8, 2025, at UPMC Jameson Hospital.

Born April 28, 1962, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Robert T. and Yolanda N. (Smith) Carter.

Michael was a 1980 graduate of Irwin High School. He was in the Army Reserves. Michael treasured spending time with his family.

Survivors include one daughter, Ashlyn Carter and her fiancé Tyler Weimer, both of Morgantown, WV; five sisters, Pam (David) White of New Castle, PA, Tonya (Dave) Durbiano of York, SC, Rhonda Carter of Myrtle Beach, SC, Tina Carter of Irwin, PA, and Debbie Moore of Raleigh, NC; and one brother Anthony Moore, of Raleigh, NC.

In keeping with his wishes there will be no visitation or services.
