Michael A. Gray, 66, of New Castle, passed away the morning of March 13, 2017 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. Born September 10, 1950 in Oak Hill, West Virginia, he was the son of Andrew and Merle Gray. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Joyce Jones Gray, whom he married May 29, 1993. Michael was retired from Castle Mold and Tool, Inc. of New Castle. During his free time, Mike enjoyed fishing for steelhead and gardening. He loved his faithful companion, his dog Apollo, and adored spending time with his children and grandchildren. In addition to his wife Joyce, he is survived by two daughters, Cher (Joseph) Paolini and Rachel (Raymond) Krantz all of New Castle; three sons, Joshua (Valerie) Gray of Harrisburg, Ben Gray of Beaufort, SC, and Charles (Melinda) Tanner of New Wilmington; two brothers, Arthur (Barbara) Gray of North Lima, OH and Mark (Vicki) Allen of Richmond, VA; one sister, Sandy (Benny) Huffman of Charleston, WV; 11 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents and his maternal and paternal grandparents. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 3:00-6:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road. In keeping with Michaels wishes, there will be no public funeral service.
