Michael D. Spellick, 34, of 21 E. Marion Avenue, Youngstown, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly at his residence June 28, 2012.Born June 6, 1978 in Youngstown, he was a son of David L. Spellick and Brenda Strohecker Spellick. He was a graduate of ETI Technical College in Ohio and was employed as a welder for O'Neal Awning Co.Michael is survived by his mother; two sons, Jordan Matthew Spellick and Nathaniel Michael Spellick both of Columbiana, OH; and a brother, Christopher (Brooke) Spellick of Lowellville, OH.He was preceded in death by his father; a brother, Matthew Spellick; and his paternal grandfather, Albert Spellick.Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2012, from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle, PA.A funeral service will be held Thursday immediately following visitation at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Robert Dayton, formerly of Mahoning Presbyterian Church, will officiate.Burial will be in Mahoning Presbyterian Cemetery.
